We won 3rd Prize in the
international regional of the 2018 RoboMaster Game

 

A total of 9 members of the club spent over 2 weeks in Shenzhen, China, making final adjustment and pre-game testing.

Hero

This Hero Robot uses four Mecanum wheels, enabling it to maneuver side way as well. Combining with the sorting mechanism, the pneumatic grabbing system can gather large ammo effectively. This Hero Robot can shoot 42mm golf ball size ammo to attack the enemy using the friction wheel. The Hero Robot is equipped with many sensors, such as laser proximity sensor, gyroscope, the current sensor, etc., that make it automated in many processes like the grabbing process. Onboard computer vision algorithm makes the shooting mostly accurate and automated.

Standard

This Standard Robot also uses four Mecanum wheels, enabling it to maneuver side way like the Hero. This Standard Robot can shoot 17mm rubber ball size ammo to attack the enemy using the friction wheel. Onboard computer vision algorithm makes the shooting mostly accurate and automated. The Standard Robot is the most agile of all robots. The computer vision algorithm also allows it to dodge the incoming attack by swinging the base.

This Engineer Robot uses regular tractor wheels unlike the others, so it can not be pushed by another side ways. The main function of this Engineer Robot is to retrieve dead robots and block enemy robots. The Engineer Robot cannot attack enemy robots in any way.
